The 5th research workshop organised by the Network for Education and Multidisciplinary Research Africa (NEMRA) is scheduled for Saturday, 23rd February at Piato Restaurant.

The question at the workshop will be:- 

How best can I prepare for defense/viva?

If you are doing a postgraduate research project, you will at some point face examiners to convince them about your competence, ownership and originality of your work. Successful candidates do not prepare for this overnight.  We will be discussing the details at the workshop.

Candidates are usually not the only ones in the preparation. Supervisors prepare their students. Panelists are also involved in a lot of preparation if they are to do their work professionally.  Very few academics have in the past made time to come to our workshops. We really would love to have many to come this time.
