ALOYSIUS R.E. KYEYUNE SSEMMANDAChairman - Founders Board, Multitech Business School

He is a Certified Public Accountant with a wide experience in corporate management, financial management, audit practice amongst others. He has a wide experience in the day to day management of organizations both in the private and public sector. Hands on competence extend to reputable Ugandan and Multinational corporations at departmental and CEO level.

He has served has a chief accountant, then Finance and Administration Manager of Nova Group of companies, Kenya. The group included Agro chemical processing and distribution, ranching, construction and insurance brokerage, General Manager of Business Machines Ltd. dealing in distribution of computers and other office equipment. Founded with others, an auditing firm: Jasper, Semu and Associates and Multitech Management Consultants Ltd., to which I served as Partner in charge of quality assurance. Participated in the audit of Uganda Commercial Bank the then largest audit in Uganda with KPMG for three years and also carried out major valuations of public enterprises for privatization.

Then, director Finance, Civil Aviation Authority, responsible for planning, budgeting and budgetary control, procurement, revenue generation and collection, financial management and accounting. He was the pioneer chief finance officer of the Authority and a key member of the management team that created one of the well-managed parastatals that renovated and modernized Entebbe International Airport. He then served as Managing Director, Celtel Uganda, the first mobile network in Uganda where he played the role of the chief executive in an international enterprise in a competitive environment that introduced the mobile phone to Ugandans.

In 2001 he was appointed the regional director for the Celtel/MSI networks including Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Congo and Malawi. In 2000-2007, elected initially as the Vice Chairman, then the Chairman of the Federation of Uganda Employers hence chairing the body that brings together the most influential employers in Uganda and playing a key role in setting employment policy within the tripartite body of Government, Employers and Unions. I am currently one of the Trustees of FUE.

He has served on the Board of Trustees, Nabagereka Development Trust Fund playing the role as the Treasurer to the Fund, Board Director, National Chamber of Commerce, Board of Trustees, St. Cecilia Rubaga Cathedral Choir, Board Member, East African Business Council, where I participated in the top most private sector policy organ in East Africa and Board Member, City Parents School among others.

DR. SSENDAGIRE HASSAN WASSWAPrincipal, Multitech Business School

Dr. Ssendagire Hassan Wasswa is currently working as the Principal of Multitech Business School and has served in this capacity since February 2016. Prior to this, he served as Academic Registrar from September 2011 to January 2016. He also served as Head of Business Management Department in Multitech Business School from January 2010 to September 2011. He joined Multitech Business School as a full time lecturer in August 2009.

He represented the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) on the Uganda Business Technical Examination Board (UBTEB) as Director from May 2010 to May 2016. Currently also serving as Board member of Galilee Community Hospital since January 2016.

He also served as a full time lecturer at Kampala International University in the school of Business Management from October 2006 to September 2009, when he decided to join Multitech Business School. During this period he also served as a Part time lecturer in Kampala University and visiting lecturer in Kigali Independent University-Rwanda (Gisenyi Campus).

Before joining the educational sector, Dr. Ssendagire worked with Wakiso District Local Government as Senior Assistant Secretary/ Gombolola Chief from 2000 to 2006. He is a man with vast experience in management and administration and this has helped him in his lecturing and administrative assignments in the education sector.

That is not all, he also worked with the defunct Greenland Bank from January 1995 to April 1999. During this period, he worked as a Banking officer and specifically Teller; Customer Care Officer; Cheque Books Administrator and finally as Chief Cashier.

Hassan holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from USA; Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a major in Finance and Accounting from Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU); Master of Public Administration and Management (MAPAM) from Nkumba University in Uganda; Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Governance and Management (PGD-UGM) from Uganda Management Institute (UMI) in Uganda; Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)- Management Option from Makerere University and a certificate in Administrative Officers’ Law Course from the Law Development Centre.

Mr. Kalyesubula VicentAcademic Registrar

He has 8 years practical experience consulting with Educational issues, policy and planning for Educational matters. He is well conversant with Educational Management and planning. He is currently serving as the Academic Registrar of Multitech Business School since January 2016.

He has been engaging in general school Administration and Management including Admission of and Registration of students in the above mentioned school, Psychology of Human Development, Curriculum Development, advanced classroom management, Educational policy and law, Planning for Higher Education, Policy Formulation and Strategic Planning in Higher Education, Methodologies of Educational Planning, Methodologies of Educational Planning, Educational and Law, Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods.

At his PDGPAM, he trained in Human Resource Management, Revenue Mobilization, Development Challenges, Entrepreneurship skills, Ethics and integrity, Good Governance, Financial Management, and Public Sector Management etc. He’s a Graduate registered teacher of Economics, History and General Management in Education. Currently Ssenabulya David Mwanje is a Doctor of Philosophy candidate in Higher Educational Management at Makerere University (Course work and Dissertation).

Madam Muheebwa FlorenceQuality Assurance Officer

Quality Assurance Unit Profile The aim of the Quality Assurance Office is to enhance the effectiveness of the institution’s core activities. The Unit safeguards and helps improve the teaching and research standards and quality of services at Multitech Business School

The Head, Muheebwa Florence. P is currently pursuing a PhD in Management from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She has a Master’s of Business Administration from Makerere University and Bachelors of Hospitality Management from Makerere University. She brings experience gained as Academic Board member, Multitech Business School (2011 – 2017. She is been a member of Multitech Business School Management Team and various committees of the Academic Board and Management (Finance, Examinations, Admissions, &Budgeting). As Head, she championed a number of Quality Assurance activities the most outstanding ones leading to the acquisition of the “Other Degree Awarding Institution” status, pushed for e-learning platform for long distance programme, participated in programme differentiation by vocationalising Degrees offered, to mention but a few. She is a member of the team that reviewed the institution’s Strategic Plan in which she developed the resource allocation model.

The Quality Assurance Unit This is made up of divisions namely: Teaching and Learning, which coordinates and supervises all activities related to the quality of teaching and learning in the institution; Research and Publications, responsible for implementing the institution Quality Assurance policy related to research and publications including evaluation of research training and supervision; and Support Services, which coordinates all activities related to staff, student and infrastructure support services. Community engagement that support and empower communities that the institution serves.
